This 2- day workshop has been developed by three dually trained
psychotherapists and an equine specialist, some of the most experienced
clinicians in the field. This workshop is designed for psychotherapists
who conduct clinical work partnering with equines, either dually
trained or working in conjunction with an equine specialist to
learn more effective and creative ways to conduct this form of
psychotherapy.
Join Dr. Marilyn Sokolof, Dr. Suz Brooks, Leslie Moreau, LMSW-ACP, and Memree Stuart, MLS, for conversations concerning equine facilitated psychotherapy. These practitioners and equine specialists, who have been working in this field for many years, are coming together to facilitate a workshop for clinicians also engaging in this work.
While this workshop is specifically geared for current practitioners
already engaged in this field, we would be happy to have new clinicians
join us. The workshop is designed for participants to share their
current questions, dilemmas, and modes of working clinically with
other psychotherapists conducting EFP. The workshop leaders will
present their work, and then the floor will open up to questions
and conversations about participant practices in EFP. CEUs pending
for psychologists and social workers.
